Good Boy - a Puppy Training app

Engaging in a rapid ideation challenge, I delved into crafting a solution for a prevalent issue in my daily routine. Through a dynamic mind mapping exercise, a concept swiftly emerged – an app named Good Boy, meticulously devised to address the needs of new puppy owners. This idea resonated deeply with me, having recently welcomed a little pup into my life.

My exploration led me to various existing apps and websites offering advice and video resources for puppy training. However, I identified a gap, a space where a dedicated, comprehensive application could truly excel.

Good Boy, at its core, revolves around gamifying training exercises and curated videos tailored to suit individual puppy breeds and stages of development. Upon setting up a profile, users gain access to a repository of informative videos relevant to their puppy's breed and age. The app introduces an incentivised system, awarding "Good Boy Points" upon viewing these educational resources.

In addition to the video library, Good Boy incorporates practical features like customisable alerts. These reminders nudge users for feed times, play sessions, and moments for affectionate bonding. A progress bar, reminiscent of the Activity app on the Apple Watch, provides a visual representation of daily goals, encouraging users to achieve and maintain their objectives.

Good Boy aims not just to offer guidance but to foster a daily routine that nurtures a strong bond between owners and their furry companions. This app seeks to enhance the puppy-raising experience by amalgamating education, engagement, and a touch of gamification for a more fulfilling journey into dog ownership.
