Self-Reflection and Future Scope
I conclude this assignment with a bit of self-reflection, as well as thinking about the future scope of my app development, should I revisit this again at a later stage.

Video Presentation & SMART goals
And so I reach the end of this module. Here you will find a link to my video presentation, alongside some revised SMART goals that will benefit my growth as a UX designer.

Week 11 - Case Study
This week we look at how to articulate design decisions, which is something I have had a lot of experience in throughout my life. I’d like to firstly talk a bit about these experiences, as although it is a slightly different context, the processes are very similar.

Visual Design - Fourth Iteration
I had initially planned on creating some minor design tweaks to my third iteration. I had focussed too much on functionality, and less on aesthetics (and this is a Design Module after all). I also felt more competent with my technical skills, and so it was a great opportunity to revisit my earlier work and design a fourth iteration.

Week 10 - Content
Following usability testing and a review of my third iteration, I begin to examine ways in which I can improve the overall aesthetic and usability of my app. This weeks learnings look at content, with activities such as creating a content inventory proving to be a valuable means of improving user flow.
This week I redesign my onboarding experience.

Week 8 - Visual Design
I begin to think about the design aesthetic I want to apply to my prototype, exploring colour, font and button design and icon usage. In all honesty, at this stage I’m nervous about my technical prototyping skills, and so in hindsight I should have spent more time focusing on this stage. I knew I could revisit the design at a later stage, once I had build a fully functioning prototype.

Week 7 - Prototyping and Usability
Follow my prototyping journey, from first and second iterations, to carrying out usability testing, to a third iteration.

Week 5 - Information Architecture
Follow as I explore the different ways onboarding can be used to engage and excite a user. I also look at Information Architecture as a topic, and try to define the navigation and hierarchy within my prototype.

Week 4 - Gamification & Wireframing
This week, I look at gamification as a topic, and explore how this might be applied within my project. I also spend time sketching using the Design Studio methodology, as well as creating wireframes and user flows using Whimsical.

Week 3: User Personas, User Flows & Competitor Analysis
This week, I look at User Personas, Competitor Analysis, and User Flows. These are important stages as they determine who we are designing for, critique what options they currently have available, and the happy paths they will hopefully take as they navigate through our app.

Week 2 - User Research and Synthesis
I examine the different types of user research and synthesis, and determine which methods are most appropriate for my problem area. Following synthesis, I am able to revise my initial problem statement.
